The pills are usually cheaper but can be harmful and even deadly for patients. They often lack the active ingredients and can contain dangerous ingredients that can lead to serious side effects. Sometimes, they just do nothing at all. Among the most widely counterfeited drugs are Lipitor, Procrit and Viagra. Getting counterfeit drugs in your local pharmacy is rare, but it does happen. However, they are more commonly bought and sold on the internet.
