A former Kansas pharmacist who admitted filling fake prescriptions for painkillers has been sentenced to four years in federal prison.

Thirty-five-year-old Katherine Surowski, of Manhattan, is the third person sentenced in the scheme. Two nurses at Manhattan's Mercy Hospital, including Surowski's sister, were sentenced earlier to shorter prison terms for conspiring to divert more than 2,400 tablets of Oxycodone and Oxycontin.
